The task assigned by the client was to create an on-screen overlay and buttons with a design inspired by lemon meringue pie. I crafted a predominantly yellow frame with a brown outline simulating the custard and crust of the pie. To accentuate the meringue aspect, I incorporated dollops of whipped cream while also introducing lemons and leaves on the border for a playful touch. Additionally, I opted for a fluid orange background to introduce a sense of movement. Keeping the buttons minimalistic, I utilized the same design elements from the overlay, such as the meringue border and whipped cream.
